- A wide breath of fire, similar to the wizard's Fire Spray ability, is heaved from the dragon's mouth, killing most players instantly.
- The dragon launches an array of fireballs in a wave, back and forth.
- Many meteors are brought down from the sky. The area of effect is the entire stage.
- Similar to The Knight's Strike ability, a multi-directional array of "red plague" is cast towards anyone near.
A safe rule of thumb is to see the pattern the dragon is in. When its time for him to cast his Fire Breath, avoid melee range at all costs. Even a hero with high hitpoints will not last more than a quarter of a second in its wake. During the Plague/Fireball/Firestorm phases, attempt to nuke him with as much damage as possible. Death is almost innevitable. Try to have over 25 team lives for this encounter.
PROTIP: Although not a guaranteed safezone, pressing right up against an inside corner of the Dragon (as close to the back wall as possible) tends to avoid most of its attacks, including Plague (although you are just as likely to be OHKO'd if the random pattern hits you). This can be an easy way for Paladins or Wizards to deal loads of damage in a short amount of time using Holy Storm/Flame Breath or other skills, if you have the lives to spare.
